SUNDAY, Nov. 30,  9 AM Sunday School ~ 10:15 AM Worship  FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT ~ Lighting of the First Advent Candle for HOPE ~  Attorney Nils von Keudell will preach. ~ Kindly plan to stay for Hanging of the Greens followed by Soup Pot Luck! Please bring your best pot of soup – or a side dish to share. m-m-m-good!

Tues. Dec. 2, 7 PM -  Worship Committee meets at church – 2014 members: Chairperson, Deanne Tamms, Keith Koppen, Eleanor Leitner, Nils von Keudell, John Gehringer,  Marie Maynard, and Pastor Diana.

Wed. Dec. 3, 7 PM - Bible Study on 1 Corinthians 6 "sexual immorality" ~ We open with conversation, prayers and singing and then get into our Serendipity Bibles to lead us in meaningful conversation. Come join us!

Thur. Dec. 4, NOON - Annual United Methodist Women Christmas Pot Luck Luncheon and business meeting. Hostess: Maile Edmonson.  Program & Devotions: Marie Maynard. All the women of the church are invited - please bring a dish to pass.

Sun. Dec. 7, 9 AM Sunday School;  10:15 AM, Family Worship HOLY COMMUNION: the Lord's Table is open to ALL. (Wheat-free, gluten free wafers are available as a substitute to regular communion bread.) Lighting of the SECOND ADVENT Candle for PEACE. At 1 pm the Confirmation class volunteers for Santa Comes to Hampshire at the Middle School

TUESDAY, Dec. 9,  7 PM – Staff/Parish Relations Committee meets at the parsonage.  2014 members:  Chair, Tom Lafferty, Linda Gehringer, Gina Pearson, Nils von Keudell, Brenda Vonic, Keith Koppen, Marie Maynard, Susan Lafferty, Pastor Diana.

Wed. Dec. 10, 7 PM - Bible Study - your mid-week energizer! Topic - 1 Corinthians 7 "to marry or not?"  Challenging discussions - safe, open atmosphere.  Come and grow with us!

Please pray for our men and women serving in combat areas:  ~ Marine PFC Dustyn Harris, Ukraine. Please inform us of the names of others who are serving in war-torn areas.
