 WEDNESDAY, July 8,  1 to 3 PM  –  zum-zum pep club  @ parsonage (301 Oak Street) for grades 3 to 8. Bring your friends!  

 THURSDAY, July 9, 11:30 AM – All the ladies of the Church and their friends are cordially invited to meet us here as we carpool with our United Methodist Women for their annual excursion and “Dutch Treat” Lunch at the Brunch Café in Huntley.  Please RSVP to Eleanor Leitner at 847-515-7969 or leave a message.

SATURDAY, July 11,  7 AM – Men’s Breakfast Club at the Rose Garden Restaurant. No reservations needed  - just show up to enjoy the monthly gathering of mature Christian men in an ecumenical fellowship of prayer, food and conversation.

Fun & Games organized by the Administrative Board, Doug Tamms, Chair.      Donations to the Food Pantry due today!     SCRIP orders due.

MONDAY, JULY 20, 7:15 PM - Food Pantry Board meeting @ B.H. Food Pantry. Pastor Diana is our representative.

TUESDAY, JULY 21, 7 PM - Administrative Board meeting @ church. Doug Tamms, chair.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 1 PM - You are cordially invited to a SPECIAL RECEPTION for our Missionary: Clara M. Biswas. This is open to the public in our Fellowship Room - Refreshments -    Free Will Offering - This project was started by our zum-zum pep club who have been learning about Clara's ministry among the children working in garbage dumps in Cambodia.  The club is collecting donations.  Please click on the MISSIONS tab on this site for details.

SUNDAY, JULY 26, 9:30 AM - Morning Worship - For 2000 years, early in the morning on the first day of the week, the followers of Jesus Christ have been and continue to gather together to sing His praises, practice His Way, and share His Witness.  Come and join us!  There is always a Children's Message and Children's Bulletin. Music provided by Deanne Tamms, pianist/organist.

 Our SUMMER MISSION FOCUS is PICO/Rwanda.  PICO International (People Improving Communities through Organizing)  www.piconetwork.org  Pastor John R. founded Pico/Rwanda in 2006 in response to the devastating effects of the 1994 genocide.  He was invited to the rural, isolated community of Mumeya to train villagers from five faith traditions to teach local residents how to solve their community problems together. Please make checks out to Zion UMC re: PICO/Rwanda – or -  place your gift of cash in the donation basket in our Fellowship Room
